Lennea grew up in Austin, Texas and moved to Houston to attend law school in 2001, and has been here ever since. She attended Texas A & M University where she received her undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in 2001. Ms. Cannon received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year.
Her business background and experience make her uniquely qualified to represent clients in complex property cases in a divorce. Having devoted her pratice exclusively to family law for over a decade, Lennea has successfully tried numerous cases involving high-conflict custody battles, contesed terminations and adoptions, high asset and large estate property divisions, and international Hague matters. Ms. Cannon represents families with compassion, zealous advocacy, and thorough analysis and litigation of difficult and extraordinary legal issues. Courts also often appoint Lennea as an amicus or ad litem attorney to represent the best interest of children involved iin litigation.
She is also a member of the American Bar Association (Family Law Committee and Civil Litigation Section), Houston Bar Association (Family Law Section Member), Fort Bend Bar Association (Family Law Committee), and is a Family Law Section Member of the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Cannon devotes her spare time to chasing her two young children around and volunteering and committing to her adoptee little brother through the Houston Area Big Brother Big Sister Organization. Ms. Cannon devotes 100% of her practice to family law, including divorce, adoptions, marital agreements, paternity, child custody, modifications, spousal support, and property enforcement.
